As part of the broader engagement, ALGO Cloud Advanced Solutions also implemented an automated archival solution for Maqasid's AWS CloudTrail logs, addressing a long-term compliance requirement without adding ongoing storage cost.

AWS Services Implemented

  • Amazon S3 Lifecycle Policies: Automatically transition CloudTrail logs through progressively lower-cost storage tiers as they age — Standard, then Standard-IA at 30 days.

  • Amazon S3 Glacier Flexible Retrieval: Logs move here at 60 days, balancing cost with retrieval speed.

  • Amazon S3 Glacier Deep Archive: Logs move here at 150 days for maximum long-term cost efficiency.
